How it works

From a photo on your phone to a concept you can walk through.

No modelling. No menus with two hundred icons. Just the room, your idea, and a few minutes.

01

Bring what you have

A floor plan, a photo of the room, a Pinterest board, a napkin sketch. Forma reads walls, windows and doors automatically.

02

Say what you want

Talk to it the way you'd brief a junior: "warmer", "more seating", "keep the fireplace". Every change is editable, nothing is locked in.

03

Explore and share

Flip between layouts, swap materials, walk the 3D concept. Send a link to your client before you've spent a day in a drawing tool.

Why designers love it

Less time in software. More time designing.

Floor plan → editable 3D space

Drop in any plan and get a proportioned 3D model in seconds — walls, openings and ceiling heights included.

Try layouts instantly

Ask for three seating arrangements and compare them side by side. Move one sofa and everything else updates.

Explore styles and materials

Warm minimal, Japandi, coastal, mid-century. Swap oak for walnut, linen for bouclé, and see it in the actual room.

Show clients concepts earlier

Share a link on day one instead of week three. Fewer surprises at the reveal, faster sign-off, happier clients.

Explore styles

Same room. Five moods. One click each.

Pick a direction and Forma restyles the whole space — palette, materials, furniture language — while keeping your layout intact.

From the studio

Leave the client meeting with a yes, not a to-do list.

"I used to lose the client's excitement somewhere between the moodboard and the first render. Now I show them a space in the same meeting."
MMartaResidential designer · solo practice
"Three layout options in the time it used to take me to draw one. Clients pick faster when they can actually see it."
JJonasCo-founder · four-person studio
"It doesn't replace my eye. It replaces the three days of SketchUp I did before anyone saw my eye."

FAQ

Questions designers ask before they try it

Do I need to know CAD or SketchUp?

No. If you can describe a room to a client, you can use Forma. You upload, you describe, you drag things around. The technical drawing happens underneath and you can export it when someone needs it.

Will it look like generic AI, or like my work?

Forma restyles your actual room from your actual references — your Pinterest board, your palette, your furniture picks. It's a fast pair of hands for your direction, not a random image generator.

Can I start from just a photo of the room?

Yes. A phone photo, a floor plan, a listing PDF, or a sketch on paper all work. Forma reads walls, windows and doors and builds an editable space you can measure.

What do I actually get out at the end?

Presentation-ready boards and renders (PNG, PDF), a 3D link your client can walk through on their phone, and on Studio, editable SketchUp/DWG files for your drafter or contractor.

Who owns the designs?

You do. Everything you generate is yours to present, sell and reuse. We never train on your client projects.

Are client photos and plans private?

Projects are private by default and only visible through links you create. You can delete a project and its files at any time.

Still deciding? Ask for a 15-minute walkthrough.
